From the lock screen: Swipe left to open the camera app. Swipe up to launch Google Now search. Swipe right to view your home screen.
You can also launch Google Now from the home screen by swiping up from the bottom of the screen.
Google Now can do a lot more than just web searches. Browse through the settings for some useful options like traffic updates, sports scores, and flight information.
You can now do more within the notifications menu without opening a separate app. For example, you can share new photos on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, etc.
The new Google Maps app lets you store maps offline. If you want to save your data plan, download the map for your city or town. You'll never have to wait on your map to load again.
Pin speed dials for your favorite contacts to your home screen. Just tap and drag this widget from the widgets menu.
You can view recent photos in the camera app just by swiping over. You don't have to launch the photo gallery app.
Create an app folder by dragging apps on top of each other.
You can link your favorite social networks and online services to Android for easier sharing. You'll find the option in the Settings app.
You can easily share photos, videos, and more on your favorite online services. Just tap the icon that looks like two lines connected by a little dot. Depending on which apps you have installed, you have a bunch of sharing options.
